The heat of transport of Ag ions, in compositions which exhibited Ag ionic conduction, was evaluated from temperature-dependent thermoelectric power data. The values were found to be in good agreement with the corresponding activation energies for the migration of Ag+ ions in the mixed systems (table 261); as deduced from electrical conductivity measurements. It was concluded that the present work confirmed the formation of fast ionic conductors, with high Ag ionic conductivities at room temperature, within certain composition ranges of the mixed systems.
