The compound, Cu4NH4Br3+xI2-x, which exhibited superionic conduction at temperatures above 384K, was identified in the NH4I-CuBr-CuI system by using X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis and conductivity methods. When x was equal to zero, the conductivity at 473K was equal to 0.91S/cm (table 263).
