The compositions in this system, which were predominantly ionic conductors, had cubic crystal structures which were similar to that of Li5NI2. A mixture with the composition, LiI-26Li3N-21mol%LiOH, exhibited a conductivity of 9.5 x 10-2S/m at 25C; with an activation enthalpy of 24.6kJ/mol.
