The diffusion of Al in the liquid was investigated by using a shear-cell method. The diffusion coefficient was determined with a reproducibility of between ±13 and ±5% at temperatures ranging from 130 to 800C (table 66). The diffusion data were consistent with the viscosity data for pure Ga, when compared by using the Stokes-Sutherland-Einstein relationship.
