Interdiffusion in the solid solutions was studied at temperatures ranging from 420 to 560C (table 272). The Boltzmann-Matano method was used to deduce the diffusivities from concentration versus penetration curves which were determined by means of sectioning and X-ray analysis. The interdiffusion coefficient was concentration-dependent and exhibited a bimodal temperature dependence.
