A theoretical study was made of the impedance of an interface, between an oxide electrolyte and a gas electrode, with non-uniform transport properties. The coefficient of surface diffusion of O over Pt was estimated to be less than 10-13m2/s in the presence of high degrees of filling of the adsorbing layer.
