The diffusivity of 51Cr in single crystals was measured at 875 to 1123K by using radio-tracer and serial sectioning techniques. It was found that the diffusivity parallel to the c-axis could be described by:

D (m2/s) = 2.2 x 10-6 exp[-165.5(kJ/mol)/RT]

The diffusivity perpendicular to the c-axis could be described by:

D (m2/s) = 2.0 x 10-6 exp[-169.4(kJ/mol)/RT]
