The self-diffusivity of H in the body-centered cubic VHx phase, where x ranged from 0.17 to 0.68, was studied at temperatures of 435 to 620K by using the nuclear magnetic resonance alternating pulsed field-gradient spin-echo technique. It was found that the results could be described by using Arrhenius relationships, where the activation energy depended markedly upon the H content, while the pre-exponential factor was essentially constant (table 260).
