The electrical properties of multi-component fluoride glasses which were based upon ZnF2 were studied by using complex impedance techniques at frequencies ranging from 5Hz to 500kHz. It was found that the conductivity of ZnF2-30BaF2-24YF3-0.2PrF3 was equal to 5.41 x 10-7S/cm at 400K, and that the data could be described by:

σT (SK/cm) = 3.39 x 105 exp[-0.73(eV)/kT]
