The migration of Sn at between 1183 and 1680K was studied by equilibrating pure Fe plates in molten Ag-Sn alloys, and monitoring the resultant diffusion profiles by using electron microprobe techniques. The results (table 29) were similar to those obtained by using tracer techniques.
