The steady-state permeation of H through the ordered equi-atomic alloy was studied. The data, for temperatures ranging from 570 to 1005K, could be described by:
D (cm2/s) = 4.38 x 10-3 exp[-5.424(kcal/g-atom)/RT]
Direct motion via tetra-octa-tetra interstices was suggested to be the diffusion mechanism.
