The diffusivity of 99Mo in ferritic Fe-Cr and Fe-Cr-C alloys, and in 2 commercial 8%Cr ferritic steels, was determined by using serial sectioning methods at 743 to 1123K (tables 64 and 65). It was found that the coefficients for bulk diffusion exhibited a theoretically predicted magnetic anomaly. The diffusivities along high-diffusivity paths were explained in terms of interaction of the diffusant with carbide particles.
