A study was made of the effects of the structure (obtained using various thermal pre-treatments) upon H diffusion under gas electric discharge conditions. The diffusivity at 30C was equal to 2.8 x 10-7, 6.3 x 10-7 and 4.5 x 10-7cm2/s for martensitic, granular pealitic and plate-pearlitic structures, respectively.
