The migration of C in 32.5wt%Ni alloy, at concentrations of 0.0002, 0.10 or 0.21wt%, was measured at between 1220 and 1415K (table 132). It was found that the activation energies for diffusion were 32.0 and 36.0kcal/mol for the 0.10 and 0.21wt%C alloys, respectively. Slightly smaller values were found for the activation energies for electrotransport. In the latter experiments, the C migrated towards the cathode.
