The diffusivity of N in a 25Ni-20%Cr austenitic stainless steel was deduced by using a flux measurement technique. The values obtained were confirmed by means of gravimetric measurements. At 1200 to 1325K, the diffusion coefficients were given by:

D (cm2/s) = 2.18 x 104 exp[-316000/R(J.molK)T]
