The diffusion dynamics of the neutral muonium state found in HgO were considered. A hopping model for the diffusion was proposed, and was used to analyze time-domain μSR data. It was found that the diffusion was an incoherent quantum process, with an activation energy of 5.2meV. The analysis also indicated that the anti-bonding site was the best candidate for muon localization.
