The dose dependences and decay kinetics of PO42− and PO32− paramagnetic centers and radiation-reduced Eu3+ were studied in γ-irradiated phosphate glasses, 4Na2O-La2O3-7P2O5, doped with Eu. The data obtained were analyzed using a trapping-volume model in the approximation of short irradiation durations. It was shown that the trapping volume parameter decreased with increasing irradiation dose.
