Several characteristics of ionic motion in glassy ionic conductors, revealed by time series analysis of molecular dynamics simulation data, were presented. Time series analysis of data obtained by molecular dynamics simulations could provide information which aided the prediction of the dynamics in many systems. The data were treated by singular spectrum analysis, which was able to extract information from noisy short-time series and thus provided insight into the unknown - or partially unknown - dynamics of the underlying system that generated the time series. Phase-space plots, reconstructed using the principal components of singular spectrum analysis, exhibited complex but clear structures; reflecting the deterministic nature of the dynamics.
