The self-diffusivity of 54Mn in single icosahedral quasicrystals was studied by using a precision grinding technique at temperatures ranging from 870 to 1093K. It was found that the results (table 63) could be described by an Arrhenius expression of the form:

D (m2/s) = 0.00034 exp[-180.8(kJ/mol)/RT]
