An ultra-high vacuum apparatus was developed for the measurement of H permeation through metal membranes. The H permeation was measured for pressures ranging from 0.1 to 100mbar, and temperatures ranging from 50 to 440C. The activation enthalpy for permeation was equal to 0.600eV.
