The types of dislocation which usually occurred in this superconductor were investigated. Dislocations which were of both basal and non-basal types were observed. No dissociation of the basal dislocations into Shockley partials was observed at a spatial resolution of 2nm. The dislocation shapes were irregular, although many dislocation segments were fairly straight. The core structure of the non-basal dislocations, with b = [00▪1] were also observed by means of high-resolution electron microscopy. A step-like structure was suggested for this sessile dislocation.
