Bulk samples were synthesized by using the usual solid-state reaction method. The alternating-current losses of the bulk sample were measured by using the alternating-current susceptibility system in external direct-current magnetic fields of up to 7T. The dependence of the losses upon temperature, frequency and magnitude of the alternating-current field was experimentally obtained. It was found that the mechanism of losses in the sample could be the same as that of high-TC superconductors and could be explained by flux creep models.
