A double-cell electrochemical technique was used to study H permeation in the amorphous alloys. The H diffusivity versus H composition relationships were determined (tables 238 and 239). The H diffusivity increased substantially with increasing H content. This implied a broad range of energy states for H incorporation in the amorphous material. Tests performed on crystallized samples revealed substantial differences in the diffusivity behavior of the amorphous and crystalline states.
