Precise magnetotransport studies of heat and charge carriers in polycrystalline MgB2 showed that magnetic fields up to 8T markedly influenced electrical resistivity, thermoelectric power and thermal conductivity. The superconducting transition temperature shifted from 39 to 19K at 8T as observed in electrical signals. The temperature transition width was weakly broadened. Electron and phonon contributions to the thermal conductivity were separated. The Debye temperature calculated from a phonon drag thermoelectric power component was inconsistent with values derived through other effects.
