The diffusion of implanted solute in the α-phase was studied at 948 to 1073K by using nuclear reaction analysis. The measurements showed that the diffusion coefficients yielded a linear Arrhenius plot. The results could be described by:
D (m2/s) = 1.4 x 10-2 exp[-326(kJ/mol)/RT]
The parameters were typical of normal substitutional behavior.
