Tracer methods were used to study the diffusion of 54Mn in single crystals of α-phase material at 878 to 1135K. The results could be described by:
D (m2/s) = 4.9 x 10-6 exp[-160.5(kJ/mol)/RT]
parallel to the c-axis, and by:
D (m2/s) = 6.0 x 10-5 exp[-189.2(kJ/mol)/RT]
perpendicular to the c-axis.
