The electrochemical H permeation method was used to determine the effective diffusivity, permeation rate and apparent solubility of H in pure Fe at different temperatures. The experimental results revealed that the temperature of permeation experiment was influenced, in accordance with the literature. Furthermore, it was also shown that the steady-state current was influenced by a variation of the temperature. In a second step, a gas chromatography system was used to determine quantitatively the amount of H thermally desorbed.
