On the basis of the experimental data, the deformation-induced transformation of homogeneous dislocation structures into heterogeneous ones with the formation of a substructure were considered. Order parameters that describe these transformations were introduced. Critical values of average and local dislocation densities, at which the transformations and the formation of new substructures take place, could be obtained from the experimental data.
