The effects of discrete mobile dislocations on spinodal decomposition kinetics in lattice-mismatched binary alloys were examined. By using a novel continuum model, it was demonstrated that the effects of dislocation mobility upon domain-coarsening kinetics could be expressed in a unified manner by using a scaling function which described a cross-over from t1/2 to t1/3 behavior.
