It was shown that if dislocations were present in a crystal, Frenkel excitons were localized at them. The dispersion equation for localized excitons was derived and examined. The localized wave amplitude was determined as a function of the distance from the dislocation. The frequency gap separating localized oscillations from bulk ones was found.
