Single crystals of the Zn0.97Cd0.03As2 solid solution were prepared, and their structure was determined by X-ray diffraction. The incorporation of Cd into ZnAs2 has no effect on its lattice parameters (to within the error of determination). Cd was shown to occupy interstitial sites in the solid solution.
