The activation energy and activation volume for dislocation mobility in single crystals were deduced from temperature-dependent slip data obtained at –200 to 300C. The activation energy for Hg0.90Cd0.10Te was 0.37eV, and the activation volume was equal to 10b3. The corresponding values for Hg0.85Cd0.10Te were 0.30eV and 8b3.
