The stress and electric displacements fields, in a piezoelectric hexagonal crystal, caused by infinite straight defects (dislocations, disclinations) that belonged to its hexad-axis were considered. Calculations were performed for such fields in crystals of classes which included: 6, 622 and 6mm. Complete analytical solutions were presented for crystals of class 6. In the absence of the piezoelectric effect, the expressions for the stress field coincided with ones found previously. Dilatational fields produced by a disclination dipole were illustrated for cesium copper chloride, ZnO and GaSe; together with the components of the electric-displacement field for ZnO and GaSe.
