A new experimental technique was described for the determination of chemical diffusion coefficients in oxides. The method did not involve any transfer of matter across an interface. The results obtained at 971C, for various deviations from stoichiometry of CeO2 were reported (table 36). The correlation between experimental and calculated
diffusion values indicated that the precision of the experimental values was better than 5%.
