The tracer diffusion coefficient of 18O in single crystals was measured by using a gas-solid isotopic exchange technique and 18O tracers. A least-squares analysis of tracer diffusion coefficients for an O pressure of 4.5 x 103Pa yielded:

D (cm2/s) = 3.6 x 104 exp [-310(kJ/mol)/RT]
