A study was made of the equilibration kinetics, of La0.8Sr0.2CoO3 at 876 to 1114K, by using a gravimetric method. The chemical diffusion which was determined in this way depended upon the O partial pressure and could be described by:
D (cm2/s) = 8.7 x 10-3 exp[-58.1(kJ/mol)/RT]
D (cm2/s) = 6.2 x 10-3 exp[-74.4(kJ/mol)/RT]
at low and high O partial pressures, respectively.
