The diffusion of D+ in single crystals at high temperatures was measured (table 130) by monitoring the growth of OD optical absorbance in samples which were heated in D2O vapor. The diffusion coefficient at 873K was about 5 x 10-8cm2/s for diffusion parallel, or perpendicular, to the z-axis. The activation energy parallel to the z axis was 1.4eV.
