The chemical diffusion coefficients in Nb1-xO2 were determined by using the electrochemical potentiostatic technique and a stabilized zirconia electrolyte. The chemical diffusion coefficients, deduced from oxidation and reduction processes at 1168 to 1274K, were described by:

D (m2/s) = 2.17 x 10-7 exp[-60.7(kJ/mol)/RT]
