The kinetics of the electrochemical insertion of Li to form the bronze, LixV2O5 (where x ranged from 0 to 1), were studied by using current pulse relaxation in molten dimethylsulfone at 150C. The partial Li ion conductivity was of the order of 0.00001S/cm.
