The effect of coexisting gases upon H permeation through a Ti-Ni-Pd membrane was studied. It was found that N, CO2 and He did not influence H permeation
through the dense membrane. However, CO influenced the H flux at 400 to 500C. The results showed that, at low CO concentrations (with up-stream H2 >80%), the H flux through the membrane decreased faster than linearly while, with up-stream H2 <80%, the slope was linear but lower than the theoretical one.
