Evolution of dislocation cell microstructures during severe plastic deformation was analyzed by using a modified kinetic dislocation model based upon the 2-dimensional approach of Estrin et alia. The proposed model simulated decreasing dislocation density after a maximum point and increasing misorientation angle with strain, which fitted well with the experimental results.
