An elastic analysis was presented for a line force or dislocation in an infinite anisotropic wedge. A solution in integral form was derived by using the Mellin transform method. It was shown that the solution could be expanded into eigenfunction series by applying the residue theorem. Several known solutions were reproduced by the present solution; such as those for a wedge which was subjected to a force or a couple at the tip. It was shown that the critical wedge angle was the one that gave rise to a double pole.
