Interactions between a circular cut, a circular hole, and an edge dislocation on a glide plane were studied. They were arranged in the order, cut - dislocation - hole, on the x-axis in a semi-infinite medium, and were investigated using Airy stress functions. Numerical calculations indicated that, for the region near to the interface, the interactions were greatly affected by geometrical relationships. It was noted that the dislocation had an unstable equilibrium position at some intermediate distance from the hole.
