By using the equations for small oscillations in a crystal containing dislocations, and the dissipative function for an elastic medium, the generalized susceptibility of a dislocation in a dissipative crystal was deduced. The contribution of bending oscillations to the dynamic deceleration of dislocations was also determined, as well as the damping of an oscillating rectilinear dislocation in a dissipative medium.
