The method of irradiation of samples by a narrow beam of γ-radiation was used to measure the interdiffusion coefficients in melts of a tin-lead system, which contained 17.6, 26.1, 29.3 and 33.9at%Pb, at 500 to 1000K. The results were compared with published data. It was found that the concentration dependence of diffusion coefficient exhibited no special features in the vicinity of the eutectic composition.
