A new computer simulation method was proposed which was based upon stochastic integration of the Langevin equations of dislocation motion, and which was intended for the investigation of the dynamic properties of a system of parallel straight dislocations. The stochastic approach, as developed for weakly correlated dislocation systems, allowed for the presence of more than 106 dislocations in the simulation area. The relaxation of a system of 220 parallel edge dislocations was demonstrated.
