The propagation of volume spin waves in an unbounded easy-axis magnet which contained a straight edge dislocation was studied theoretically. The spin-wave scattering amplitudes were calculated within the Born approximation, and it was shown that the spin-wave scattering amplitude vanished for certain values of the scattering angle. The dependence of the scattering angle upon the angle of incidence of the spin waves was found for this case. The scattering cross-section for spin waves was deduced.
