Samples with a deposited film of Au were irradiated with a neutron flux of 6 x 1018/cm2 at 50C, and then annealed. The redistribution of Au was studied by using the neutron activation method. It was found that some of the adsorbed Au atoms diffused into the bulk under the influence of the irradiation. It was estimated that the radiation-enhanced diffusion coefficient was between 10-13 and 10-12cm2/s.
