Diffusion on (111) single crystals was studied by determining the kinetics of surface rearrangement at order-type phase transitions, using low-energy electron diffraction. Between 880 and 980K, the surface self-diffusion could be described by:

D(cm2/s) = 9 x 103exp[-3.6(eV)/kT]
