Measurements of p/n junctions were used to deduce the diffusivity of Au into large-grained Hg0.8Cd0.2Te solid solutions. The results for 200 to 450C (table 1) could be described by:
D (cm2/s) = 5.6 x 10-6 exp[-0.40(eV)/kT]
